Roles and Responsibilities

Roles and responsibilities of Business Development Executive :

  • As member of BD Team, drives the Network expansion agenda of MedPlus within his territory
  • Owns the New store opening targets for the territory
  • He sources Properties for MedPlus pharmacy (Personally / Team / Third party vendors)
  • Should have a fair understanding of the prevailing real estate prices / rents in the territory
  • Responsible for rental benchmarking within the territory
  • Ensures properties are negotiated with Lessors at Optimal rents for MedPlus
  • He ensures Lessor hands over the property to MedPlus as per agreed terms and timelines
  • He coordinates with other functions to ensure swift validation and launch of stores
  • He will be the first point of contact for all Lessors in the territory and manages cordial rapport during the period of lease
  • Responsible for liasoing with Owners in processing all legal documents for approval and agreements for finalizing the property.

Requirements :

  • Should be familiar with the market
  • Must possess decent negotiation skills
  • Should be open to travel across towns and cities within the territory
  • 2- 5 Yrs of prior experience. (Experience in similar role will be an advantage)
